Meet Our Leadership

Our cooperative is driven forward by a dedicated Board of Directors and an executive team wholeheartedly committed to our mission of shared prosperity. Their collective leadership is vital in ensuring that Panamar Ko Ranao remains true to its foundational values while strategically pursuing ambitious growth and creating lasting impact. The organizational structure centers around this Board of Directors and Management, establishing a clear hierarchy, roles, and responsibilities within the cooperative.

Allow us to introduce the key individuals who steer our cooperative:

Board of Directors & Key Management

  • Hamdanie T. Tahir – Chairman / General Manager. As Chairman and General Manager, Mr. Tahir is instrumental in guiding the cooperative’s strategic direction and day-to-day operations. His leadership was particularly crucial in Panamar Ko Ranao’s strategic pivot to direct agricultural production amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Khalid M. Dipatuan – Vice-Chairman. The Vice-Chairman provides critical support to the Chairman in decision-making and oversees cooperative activities, contributing to stable leadership.
  • Nabel S. Odal – Secretary. The Secretary is responsible for managing all cooperative records and documentation, ensuring the highest level of organizational integrity and transparency.
  • Nabila M. Tahir – Treasurer. The Treasurer is entrusted with overseeing the cooperative’s financial management, including budgeting and the crucial allocation of funds, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability.

Our Board of Directors consists of five dedicated individuals, including the named officers, who collectively guide the cooperative’s direction. These individuals were among the initial cooperators, embodying the collective spirit of Panamar Ko Ranao.

Committees that Uphold Our Principles

To ensure robust governance and adherence to our core values, our cooperative operates with specialized committees. These committees are essential for maintaining transparency, ethical practices, and continuous improvement within the cooperative:

  • Audit Committee: This committee plays a crucial role in ensuring stringent compliance with both financial and operational audits, maintaining fiscal transparency and accountability.
  • Ethics Committee: Tasked with overseeing ethical practices and addressing any grievances that may arise, this committee upholds the integrity and fairness central to our cooperative’s interactions.
  • Education and Training Committee: Dedicated to the continuous growth of our members and employees, this committee coordinates comprehensive educational programs that enhance skills and knowledge pertinent to all cooperative activities, from agricultural practices to modern business techniques. This aligns with the cooperative’s allocation of funds for education and training.

Our leadership’s commitment goes hand-in-hand with our foundational principle of Community-Centered Growth. Through their strategic oversight, Panamar Ko Ranao ensures that fair wages, stable employment opportunities, and essential community development projects, such as health and education programs, directly benefit local coconut farmers and workers, strengthening the entire community. This dedication to social impact is a unique value proposition that aligns with consumers’ increasing preference for ethically produced goods.
